Depeche Mode were one of my first favourite bands. I didn't get this single back in 1983 though (I was only five years old then) but got it two years ago at the same time that I bought the Kraftwerk single. The homo-erotic vibe to the cover art is an interesting touch. :D

Kraftwerk - Tour de France - 1983
I'm not a huge Kraftwerk fan really, but if you go through an old box of 7" singles in your local second-hand store and find Tour de France for a cheap price you have to be pretty stupid to walk out of the store and not buying it. So I walked out of the store with a piece of German music history and a strong urge to start riding bikes professionaly.

Hello world
This is the little blog by a person with a disorder. I like music and I think the proper way to listen to it is by listening to the good old fashioned vinyls. I know I know, they can't compete with CD's and stuff for pure audio hifi junk, but there's something magical about the revolving records and the crackling when the needle drops.
On this blog I'll go through my ever growing vinyl record collection and mostly the 7" stuff.
